A couple weeks ago, my trusty 98 saturn failed the everloving crap out of an inspection (lots of rust, 500$ car, 1600$ in work plus tax to get it road worthy). This left me and my roommate in the uncomfortable situation of not having a car. Our broke-ness, combined with the parking disaster that is our neighborhood had us scrambling.
So naturally, we bought a scooter.
Pics tuesday when we take delivery, but here it is on the manufacturers website.

(We got it in “Bitchin’ Orange”)

Nice! I still want to get my motorcycle license and pick up a scooter at some point, so nice to see more of you folks joining the crowd! :P
Will you be replacing or repairing your Saturn...?

Pretty sweet ride. If using a scooter instead of a car was a practical choice for me I would do it.

It’s waiting for the wrecker to come take it away :(
The scooter is the replacement

Good luck, love seeing more scoot-talk! :P
If you intend to mod it at all, may I suggest a voltmeter...? Charging systems on scooters are not always terribly efficient, haha! :)

I don’t intend to mod it, but maybe a voltmeter is worth looking into. Hopefully, being a newer, fancier model it will have an adequate charging system..... But you never know.
If we decide a second scootscoot is needed, it’ll be some jankity craigslist special or a ruckus, and it WILL be modded to hell and back.

an update, on the very off chance that you care: it has a built in voltmeter on the multifunction display.
First tank returned 66 miles on 1.06 gallons of 91 octane. Not bad for a fresh vehicle (also not sure it was totally filled, either). Second tank is over 40 miles and well over half a tank left, so around 80mpg.
